Malibu 2013-2014-2015 Oil Life Reset

On this tutorial we need to used the DIC button Located at the Left side of the steering wheel.<>

STEP 1:

  • Turn the ignition to ON/RUN with the engine off.

STEP 2:

  • Press the DIC MENU button on the turn signal lever to enter the Vehicle Information Menu. Use the thumbwheel to scroll through the menu items until you reach REMAINING OIL LIFE.

STEP 3:

  • While remaining oil life is displayed. Press the SET/CLR button to reset the oil life at 100%.

STEP 4:

  • Turn the ignition to LOCK/OFF. Oil Reset is complete.

STEP 5:

  • Turn the ignition to ON/RUN with the engine off.

STEP 1:

  • Turn the Ignition on. Don’t start the ENGINE.
  • Use the DIC Button, Press Left Arrow, To Display The Menu. Then Use Up Arrow To Select INFO. Then Press The Check Button.

STEP 2:

  • Use The Arrow Keys To Navigate The REMAINING OIL LIFE.

STEP 3:

  • While The REMAINING OIL LIFE is Displayed. Press The Right Arrow Key To Display The RESET  Menu.
  • OR
  •  Long Press the CHECK MARK BUTTON  to reset the Oil Life.

STEP 4:

  • Then Select RESET. Then Select YES In Confirmation. Use CHECK BUTTON To Confirm

STEP 5:

  • After You Select Yes In Confirmation. The Engine Oil Will Reset To 100%.

STEP 6:

  • Turn Ignition Off. Oil Reset is now complete.
