Oil reset procedures for all vehicle brands have been researched and documented.

NOTE: After the oil change, only the oil service maintenance light should be reset. Before resetting the service maintenance, replace the oil in your car.

If your engine’s oil pressure drops, the dashboard oil light will illuminate. The engine can’t lubricate itself without proper oil pressure. Because the engine requires continuous lubrication to work, if it isn’t properly oiled, it could seize and stop abruptly, perhaps causing an accident.
