NOTE: For this tutorial you need the OBD DIAGNOSTIC TOOL for this car model of Audi S4.

 


2000-2002 Audi S4 Service Oil/Service INSP Reset

STEP 1

  • Switch ignition off.

STEP 2

  • Press ODOMETER and instrument cluster RESET BUTTON while switching ignition on. Trip recorder display (3) will read “service OIL”.Audi ODO Reset Buttons 2000-2005

STEP 3

  • Then release the ODOMETER RESET BUTTONNOTE: Depending on make of instrument cluster, display on trip recorder will either continue to read “service OIL’ (Nippon Seiki) or change to “- – – “ (VDO).

STEP 4

  • Pull CLOCK ADJUSTER BUTTON  on instrument cluster and hold for approximately 2 seconds. This resets “service OIL” display.Audi Clock Adjuster Button 2000-2005

STEP 5

  • Press the ODO RESET BUTTON again to advance to next type of service.

STEP 6

  • Release button. Trip recorder display will read “service INSP”.  NOTE: Depending on the make of the instrument cluster, the display on the trip recorder will either continue to read “service INSP” (Nippon Seiki) or change to ” – – -“ (VDO).Audi ODO Reset Buttons 2000-2005 SERVICE INSP

STEP 7

  • Pull CLOCK ADJUSTER BUTTON on instrument cluster and hold for approximately 2 seconds. This resets “service INSP” display.Audi Clock Adjuster Button 2000-2005

STEP 8

  • Switch ignition off.

2004-2005 Audi S4 Service Reminder Reset

STEP 1

  • Turn Ignition Off.

STEP 2

  • Press Button (1) On Right Side Of Instrument Cluster And Turn Ignition Switch To ON Position. . Either “SERVICE IN —- MI (KM)” Or “SERVICE!” Message Will Be Displayed.Audi button 1

STEP 3

  • Press Reset Button (2)Audi BUTTON 2 On Right Side Of Instrument Cluster Until The Following Message “SERVICE IN —- MILES — DAYS” And “SERVICE!” Is Displayed. Display Will Return To Normal After 5 Seconds.Audi service ok

STEP 4:

  • Turn Ignition OffService Reminder Is Now Reset. If Fail Repeat The Procedure.

2006-2009 Audi S4 Oil Service Reset

STEP 1

  • Ensure Ignition Is Off.

STEP 2

  • Press In The Wrench Button On Instrument Cluster, And At The Same Time Rotate The Ignition Key Forward (Without Starting).AUDI WRENCH BUTTON

STEP 3

  • While Still Pressing The “WRENCH” Button In, Press The “0,0” BUTTON  And HOLD Until The “SERVICE!” Notification Clears (About 2 – 3 Seconds). “Service!” Indicator Reset Procedure/Service Indicator Reset Complete.AUDI 0.0 BUTTON

STEP 4

  • Turn Ignition OffSERVICE RESET IS COMPLETE.

2010-2014 Audi S4 Oil Service Due Reminder Reset

On this tutorial we need to use the CAR button.AUDI A4 CAR BUTTON

STEP 1

  • Turn The IGNITION ON. Don’t Start The Engine.

STEP 2

  • Press The CAR BUTTON .

STEP 3

  • Use The MULTI FUNCTION STEERING WHEEL / Control Console.Audi multi function steering wheel and center console To Navigate The SERVICE INTERVAL DISPLAY.Audi service interval display

STEP 4

  • Select SERVICE INTERVAL DISPLAY Then PRESS THE MULTI FUNCTION STEERING WHEEL To Display “RESET OIL CHANGE SERVICE INTERVAL”Audi Reset the oil change interval

STEP 5

  • Press The MULTI FUNCTION STEERING WHEEL/Control Console To RESET The OIL CHANGE INTERVALThe Confirmation Message Will Appear Select YES.YES FOR CONFIRMATION MESSAGE
  • Oil change interval Audi is reset

STEP 6

  • Press The CAR BUTTON To Exit. Oil Reset Is Complete.

On this tutorial we need to use the Audi MULTI MEDIA INTERFACE (MMI) CONTROL CONSOLE.

STEP 1

  • Start The Engine.

STEP 2

  • Press The MENU BUTTON(Number 4)me

STEP 3

  • Use The Number 1 Button To Navigate VEHICLE.. Press Number 6 To Select Vehicle MENUselect vehicle

STEP 4

  • Press Number 6 On INDIVIDUAL.INDIVIDUAL

STEP 5

  • Then Select SERVICE CHECK.SELECT service check

STEP 6

  • Then Select SERVICE INTERVAL.SELECT SERVICE INTERVAL

STEP 7

  • Then Select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL.RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL

STEP 8

  • Then The Confirmation Message Appear. Select YES.SELECT YES

STEP 9

  • The OIL CHANGE INTERVAL IS NOW RESET.OILRESET IS COMPLETE

STEP 10

  • Turn Ignition OFF. Oil Reset Is Complete.
