HOW TO RESET Volvo V70 Oil Service Maintenance Reminder Indicator Light

Simple tutorial and easy follow steps by step instruction on how to reset the oil service maintenance reminder indicator light on Volvo V70 from the year 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016.

Reset Procedure  Volvo V70 (1996-2002)

STEP 1

• Close all doors, gear to the park position.

STEP 2

• Make sure the IGNITION OFF.

STEP 3

• Press and hold the TRIP button then turn the IGNITION  ON (Position 2)

STEP 4

• Continue to press the TRIP button until the SERVICE light is flashing.

STEP 5

• While flashing, release the TRIP button.

STEP 6

• Turn off the ignition.

STEP 7

• Then turn the ignition on, to verify if the reset is successful.

Reset Procedure  Volvo V70 (2003-2016)

STEP 1

• Close all doors, gear to the park position.

STEP 2

• Turn the ignition to POSITION 1 (not the ignition 2)

STEP 3

• Press the TRIP Button (T1/T2) to change the display to T2.

STEP 4

• While T2 is displayed. Press and hold the TRIP button then turn the IGNITION ON (Position 2).

STEP 5

• When you see the (i) is flashing release the TRIP button.

STEP 6

• Turn the ignition on. Oil Service maintenance reminder reset is complete.
