HOW TO RESET: AUDI TT
Tutorial on how to reset the oil service duet interval reminder on Audi TT (MK1-8N-MK2-8J-RS-MK3-FV-8S) from year 1998-1999-2000-2001-2002-2003-2004-2005-2006-2007-2008-2009-2010-2011-2012-2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020.
1998-2006 Audi TT (MK1-8N) SERVICE Interval Reset
To display remaining distance to service, turn ignition on. Press button on left side of instrument cluster display (lower right side of tachometer). A system function test can be performed with the engine idling or when vehicle speed has reached at least 3 MPH. If there is a priority “1” malfunction (Red symbol), distance remaining will not display. If service is needed soon, “SERVICE IN 1200 MLS” will be displayed. If service is now due, “SERVICE!” will appear. The display will return to normal after 5 seconds. To reset interval display after performing required service:
STEP 1
- Turn ignition off.
STEP 2
- Turn ignition on while pressing trip recorder RESET BUTTON (A). “SERVICE!” will appear in the display.
STEP 3
- Press and hold (B BUTTON) on left side of instrument cluster display until “SERVICE!” is cleared from the display or SERVICE 9300 MI is displayed.
STEP 4
- Release the Button, the system will display OK.
STEP 5
- Turn Ignition OFF. Service reset is complete.
2006-2014 Audi TT (Mk2-8J) Service Interval Reminder Reset
STEP 1
- Switch The Ignition On.
STEP 2
- •Pull The Knob (10) This Message Appears: SERVICE IN 15000KM 365 DAYS
STEP 3
- Pull The Knob Until The Display OIL CHANGE IN—– ML (KMI — DAYS Appears In The Display. If The Reset Button Is Not Pulled Within 5 Seconds, The Display Reset Mode Closes.
STEP 4
- Turn Ignition Off. Oil Reset Is Complete. If Fail Repeat The Procedure.
2015-2020 Audi TT (Mk3-FV/8S) Service Interval Reminder Reset
On this tutorial we need to use these buttons.
STEP 1
- Turn the Ignition On.
STEP 2
- Press the MENU button (A) to display the vehicle menu.
STEP 3
- Select CAR in the menu then press the OK Button (C).
STEP 4
- Press the ENTER button (B). Then select SERVICING & CHECKS then press OK BUTTON (C).
STEP 5
- Then Select SERVICE INTERVAL, then press OK BUTTON (C).
STEP 6
- Then select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL, then press OK BUTTON (C).
STEP 7
- If there is any confirmation message select YES. Turn IGNITION OFF. OIL RESET IS COMPLETE.
