Launch X431 Scanner Storage is FULL.

This tutorial will work on all Android base Launch X431 Scanners. Launch X431 5C, Launch X431 V, Launch X431 V+, Launch X431 PRO, Launch X431 PRO3, Launch X431 PAD3, Launch X431 PAD2 and many more are examples.

 

This tutorial is a quick and simple instruction HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF LAUNCH X431 FULL STORAGE.

By default, the Launch X431 Scanner tablet has 16GB internal storage and 32GB External Storage. As of Today November 7, 2019. The complete Installation of update in ALL CAR BRANDS on your scanner, it takes almost 14Gb of your storage. So, in this case, the 16Gb is not enough. Because when you update the new database it consumes all of your storage and it may cause a problem.

So the solution for this PROBLEM IS to USE THE EXTERNAL STORAGE.

Today I will show you HOW TO DO IT!

In my example, I am using Launch X431 Pro 3. Please Follow Me.

I am Using launch X431 pro3
I am using here LAUNCH X431 PRO3

  1. The Main User interface of LAUNCH X431 PRO3

  2. I already Download All of the Car Brands
    I already Downloaded All of the Car Brands

  3. In my file manager We have almost full the internal storage and unused external storage. becasue by default the LAUNCH Software will download the vehicle into the Internal Storage.
    In my file manager, we have almost full the INTERNAL STORAGE and unused EXTERNAL STORAGE. because by default the LAUNCH Software will download the vehicle into the Internal Storage.

  4. Now! Click Settings and Lets solve the problem. by Converting the External Storage as Internal.
    Now! Click SETTING and Let’s solve the problem, by Converting the External Storage into INTERNAL STORAGE.

  5. Open SETTING in your Android Device and look for STORAGE.Open SETTING in your Android Device and look for STORAGE.

     

    In STORAGE Select External STORAGE

  6. Click the 3 Dot on the right upper corner. see the picture above.

  7. Click STORAGE SETTING
    Click STORAGE SETTING.

  8. Now Click FORMAT AS INTERNAL :)

  9. Click ERASE AND FORMAT

  10. FORMATING.......
    FORMATING…….

  11. After the Formating the STORAGE, it is the time TO MOVE OUR FILE FROM INTERNAL TO EXTERNAL STORAGE.

  12. Click NEXT to start moving the file from INTERNAL TO EXTERNAL STORAGE.

  13. After you click NEXT. Click MOVE.

  14. Now MOVING. It takes a minute the MOVING PROCESS.

  15. Just wait until its DONE
    Just wait until it’s DONE.

  16. Now in our STORAGE we can see that we have already transfer our file from INTERNAL TO EXTERNAL.

  17. If we check our STORAGE in FILE MANAGER, We will see we dont have external storage because it was converted to INTERNAL.

  18. We’re Done.

We are now finished converting our external storage to internal. We have now lots of storage for our scanner. thru this, we will not be experiencing again full storage problem.
