Kia Sorento 2015-2020 Oil Service Required Maintenance Light Reset

Tutorial on how to reset the oil service required maintenance reminder indicator light on Kia Sorento from the year 2015, 2016, 2017,2018, 2019 and 2020.

STEP 1

  • Close all doors. Gear to the park position.

STEP 2

  • Turn the ignition on. Don’t start the engine.

STEP 3

  • Press the MENU button to navigate the SPANNER/WRENCH  (SERVICE REQUIRED).

  • While SERVICE REQUIRED is displayed. Press and HOLD the OK button until the new service interval schedule is set (SERVICE IN).

  • Oil Reset is complete. Close turn off the ignition.

HOW TO SET THE NEW SERVICE INTERVAL SCHEDULE

STEP 1

  • Close all doors, gear to the park position then TURN on the ignition.

STEP 2

  • Press the MENU button to navigate USER SETTINGS then scroll down to SERVICE INTERVAL then press the OK button.

  • Then Change the SERVICE INTERVAL MILES AND MONTH OF INTERVAL.

STEP 4

  • When done, press the MENU button, then select SAVE when confirmation appears.

  • Turn off the ignition.
