Resetting the Engine Oil Life Display

Your dealer will reset the display after completing the required maintenance service. You will see ‘‘OIL LIFE 100%’’ on the information display the next time you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.

If maintenance service is done by someone other than your dealer, reset the maintenance minder as follows:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.
2. Press the Select/Reset knob until the engine oil life indicator is displayed.
3. Press the Select/Reset knob for more than 10 seconds. The engine oil life and the maintenance item code(s) will blink.
4. Press the Select/Reset knob for another 5 seconds. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to ‘‘100.’’

Honda Pilot 2009-2015 Oil Life Reset

Honda Pilot Oil Life service due reminder reset from the year 2009, 2010, 2011,2012, 2013, 2014 to 2015.

Reset the engine oil life display if you have performed the maintenance service.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Press the (Select/Reset) knob repeatedly until the engine oil life appears on the information display.
3. Press and hold the knob for ten seconds or more. The information display shows the reset mode initial display.
4. Press and hold the knob for five seconds or more. The displayed maintenance items disappear and the engine oil life display will return to 100%

Models with multi-information display

Reset the engine oil life display if you have performed the maintenance service.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Display the engine oil life by repeatedly pressing the SEL/RESET button.
3. Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for 10 seconds or more. The oil life reset mode is displayed on the multi-information display.
4. Select RESET with the (Arrow UP & Information Button (i)) / (Arrow Down) button, then press the SEL/RESET button. The service code will disappear and the engine oil life display will return to 100%.
5. To cancel the oil life reset mode, select CANCEL, then press the SEL/RESET button.

Honda Pilot 2016-2019 Reset Oil Life

Resetting oil service life schedule on Honda Pilot from the year 2016, 2017, 2018 to 2019.

Reset the engine oil life display if you have performed the maintenance service.

1. Set the power mode to ON.
2. Go to the Maintenance Info. Press the (Information) button until the engine oil life appears on the
   MID.
3. Press and hold the RESET button. The oil life reset mode is displayed on the MID.
4. Select Reset with the (Information) button, then push the RESET button. The displayed maintenance items disappear, and the engine oil life display returns to 100%.
5. To cancel the oil life reset mode, select Cancel, then push the RESET button.
